SafePoint Insurance Company offers competitive insurance options, particularly specializing in coastal regions, which demand robust policies due to the high-risk nature of such areas. While they provide a range of property and casualty insurance products, details on specific premium rates are not readily advertised and typically require direct consultation with the company for precise quotes.

Premium rates can vary significantly based on several factors including the property's location, the type of coverage chosen, and the property's susceptibility to weather-related damage. This is particularly relevant in coastal areas where SafePoint operates, as these regions are more prone to hurricanes and floods.

  • Variability by State: SafePoint operates in multiple states, and premium costs can differ from one state to another based on local regulations and the risk profile of the area.
  • Coverage Options: SafePoint offers various coverage options that can affect premium rates, such as standard homeowners insurance, flood insurance, and additional endorsements for specific risks.
  • Claims Experience: The company's claims process is streamlined to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction, which can also influence premium rates over time.

Recent trends in the insurance market have shown that companies, including SafePoint, may adjust their rates based on broader industry dynamics such as legislative changes and market demands. For example, significant rate hikes have been observed in the industry, with some insurers proposing increases due to rising reinsurance costs and legislative changes affecting claims litigation.

Understanding these aspects is crucial when considering SafePoint for your insurance needs. It's advisable to directly contact SafePoint or consult with an insurance agent to get the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding insurance premiums and to tailor a policy that best fits your specific requirements.

Safe Point Insurance Customer Reviews

My invoice dated 06/29/2023 clearly states "No fees & All Major Credit Cards Accepted!" I decided to pay by cc to earn reward points. I was told that there is a 3% courtesy fee. When I told the representative that my invoice states "no fees," she claimed that it was not misleading because the fees aren't SafePoint's, but the processing company's. (And she was not very polite.) The company should honor its written claims.

I have been lied to for months that my refund check was "in the mail". Still have not received my refund. They lie every time I call them and they also lie to my Insurance Agent. We had to upload the same document 4 times. They claim our paperwork was sent to accounting 7 different time.

I was told by safepoint that this was a problem with auto pay and they resolved it with Rocket Mortgage. My phone is not working so this is the only way I can communicate. This needs to be resolved.

After 4 years with this company they just drop coverage. because prudent financial management and geographic diversification of the company's policies require a reduction of its commercial wind insurance exposure. In other words there are no good and nothing but cowards.

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Don't be fooled with their name change to Manatee Insurance Exchange. I guess they figured that SafePoint has had enough negative reviews, changing the company name gives them an out as an unknown.

I wish I could give zero stars, but that's not an option. Safe Point Insurance has proven to be incredibly disappointing. They refuse to cover costs that should be insured, rendering the insurance pointless. Their behavior feels dishonest, and it's hard to trust them. I do not recommend this company at all. They probably rip off their own Mother’s. A bunch of crooks.
